We happily report in today with the news of Matthew being a non-event for us in Fort Myers only experiencing some rocking and rolling. We were prepared as possible and comfortable with our decision to return to Legacy Harbour Marina, while not fearing too much activity from Matthew other than high winds. An uneventful trip on Ocean Spirit is the best kind…and that’s just what we had today. We are secured back at Legacy Harbour Marina. We had a lot of entertainment along the way. Good Morning – I just snapped this picture as Ocean Spirit’s engines are humming while we crawl down Charlotte Harbor to intersect with the Gulf Intercoastal Waterway to take us back to Legacy Harbour Marina in Fort Myers.
