We left Stuart on Wednesday as the sun was rising. The winds were forecast to be favorable, so we crossed our fingers and headed west with our buddy boat, LUKA. We had planned to start out today on the Okeechobee Waterway to cross from the east to the west side of Florida. The winds will always dictate our boating decisions as they did just that today.
